EBT/ SNAP/ Food Stamp Program at New Amsterdam Market
The New Amsterdam Market ebt (food stamp program) was inaugurated in Fall 2010 with funding from New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Council Member Margaret Chin, Bo Bo Poultry, and GM Printing. EBT patrons may come to the Market Desk to swipe their EBT card in exchange for New Amsterdam Market EBT dollars, which can be redeemed for fresh produce, fruit, meat, dairy, cheese, and other regional, seasonal products from the following vendors (please visit the calendar page to check vendor schedules, as not all vendors are at the market weekly):
